Proactive Parenting Course: Preschoolers & Kindergartners Edition

This course is taught live for eight weeks, covering the most important topics to know in the parenting of young children (2-7). It is taught in-person, live online, and as a self-paced online course you can participate in at your convenience. Transformative Parenting offers 1-2 hour talks on a number of different topics to parenting groups, schools and professional organizations. In addition to some of the sample talks below, we can create customized content to address your particular needs.

Attachment Rules: The Wisdom & Science Behind Successful Parenting

This is our most popular introductory talk. It introduces the science of Attachment Theory as a parenting approach, dispels some of the most common misperceptions about attachment, and introduces a number of attachment-based “rules” that will help parents and helping professionals better understand behavior issues and how they can be more properly addressed. At the end of the talk, participants are taught three attachment safe parenting practices that should be able to have an immediate effect in their homes.
