Who We Work With

Although every child and every family is unique, many of the problems we face are universal. Transformative Parenting works with parents to help solve the most common problems being experienced in our homes and in our schools.

We work with parents who:

…Are tired of battling with their children and want to have a more healthy relationship with them, and to regain their proper place as the guiding influence in their children’s lives.

…Are overwhelmed by the advice of people they know and so-called experts who tell them how they should parent. Often this advice is conflicting and just doesn’t feel right.

…Are afraid they are repeating negative patterns they learned from their own childhood and are becoming someone they promised themselves they'd never be.

…Are having relationship problems, including divorce, and are afraid of what the impact will be on their kids.

People who are most helped by
our services are:

…Committed to helping their kids (and themselves) reach their fullest potential in all aspects of life. You realize that "success" is not based just on test scores and getting into a good school. It is also about emotional achievement and capacity to have loving, fulfilling relationships and to feel a sense of accomplishment and contribution.

…Open minded and curious about what’s going on with their kids and not set in their ways about what is "right" and "wrong" according to societal standards or what a certain "expert" says.

…Dedicated to discovering a more natural, intuitive way of parenting that is not based on the trend-of-the-day or harmful to the relationship between adult and child.
